In 2020 the price of the U.S. Mint Silver Proof set was increased from $54.95 in 2019 to $63.25 , and the price of the 2020 Limited Edition Silver Proof set was increased by $51 to $201 from $149.95 in 2019—both due to higher silver prices. During this period the coins in both silver sets continued to be composed of .999 fine silver as they had since 2019.
In 2021, fewer silver coins were included in the regular Silver Proof Set because only two quarters were issued that year, but the price remained the same. Yet sales only declined by less than 10%. In addition, in 2021 the Limited Edition Silver Proof Set was a special one that included both reverse types for the American Silver Eagle, which pushed prices up that year to $235 for that set.
In 2022, the first American Women Quarters were part of the Silver Proof Set, adding five new silver proof quarters to the Silver Proof Set.
